ā¤ļø Why Aspiranet?

Founded in 1975, Aspiranet is a mission-driven social services agency with locations across California. Our six divisions Foster Care & Adoption, Transitional Aged Youth, Residential, Intensive Home-Based Services, Behavioral Health, and Family & Community provide holistic supports for children, families, and communities. This role is big-picture and multi-site focused, coaching and mentoring Program Supervisors and their teams across cottages to ensure consistent, high-quality, trauma-informed care.

Lead a Cottage. Shape a Culture. Change Outcomes.

Aspiranet is seeking a confident, trauma-informed leader to serve as a Program Supervisor within our Short-Term Residential Therapeutic Program (STRTP).

This role is ideal for someone who has supervised teams in residential care, behavioral health, education, facility management, or youth-serving environments — and is ready to lead within a structured, care-focused, and quality-oriented residential setting.

You will oversee the day-to-day operations of a residential cottage, supervising Therapeutic Youth Counselors and partnering with Behavioral Health and Social Work teams to ensure a safe, structured, and healing environment for youth.

  • Model trauma-informed leadership and conflict resolution
  • Ability to respond to emergencies on-site
  • Operate within residential and community environments

Cottage Operations

  • Manage daily program rhythms, routines, and activities
  • Ensure youth basic needs are consistently met (appointments, clothing, supplies, rituals, structure)
  • Oversee activity planning (on-site and community-based)
  • Support fiscal and administrative functions within budget parameters

Trauma-Informed Practice & Crisis Leadership

  • Apply and mentor staff in ARC, CRM, ProAct principles, and other program modalities.
  • Lead and debrief crisis interventions
  • Ensure crisis response aligns with agency care and supervision standards
  • Support strength-based, individualized case planning

Compliance & Documentation Oversight

  • Ensure compliance with Community Care Licensing (CCL), Joint Commission (TJC), and agency standards
  • Oversee documentation quality and timeliness
  • Serve as an agency representative when needed

This role requires someone who can balance structure and compassion, accountability and support, compliance and care.

āœ… Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a related field OR equivalent CDSS-recognized experience
  • Two years of experience working with the population served (or equivalent)
  • Supervisory or management experience preferred

  • Understand documentation and regulatory oversight
  • Are culturally responsive and inclusive
  • Recognize compassion fatigue and actively support staff wellness
  • Can step into direct support roles when needed

This is a hands-on leadership role — not a desk-only position.
