Aspiranet supports your success at each step. You will work closely with Aspiranet’s leadership to develop and implement a program budget, practice standards, and a strategic direction. šŸ” Key Responsibilities

  • As a Social Services Program Manager in Visalia, California, you’ll hire, train, supervise and evaluate on average 5-7 social workers who implement treatment plans for youth who struggle with behavioral and mental health issues.
  • You’ll have a direct impact on the success of the program as a resource to those you supervise by training staff, mitigating client safety issues, supporting  program compliance and evaluating staff’s ability and willingness to provide strength-based trauma-informed care.
  • As part of the team-based approach, you’ll participate in group supervision, staff meetings and have the ability to shadow those you supervise to provide in-the-moment modeling, coaching, and feedback.
  • As a way to strengthen families and support in times of need, you will provide back up after hours support to social workers on a rotation basis.

āœ… Qualifications

If you have a Master’s Degree in psychology, social work, or related field, with a minimum of two years' experience working with high-risk youth and families and one year of supervisory experience, we encourage you to apply today.  BBS registration preferred. 

Minimum Requirements:

  • Master's Degree in Psychology, Social Work or related field
  • Minimum of one year supervisory experience.
  • Minimum of two years’ experience working with children, adolescents, and families with emotional or behavioral challenges.
  • Meets all state-required employment conditions, including:
    • DOJ fingerprint and Child Abuse Index clearance
    • TB/Health physical
    • Valid CA Driver’s License, acceptable driving record, and proof of insurance

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Proficiency in English (reading, writing, speaking, and comprehension).
  • Ability to work independently while seeking guidance when necessary.
  • Strong writing and documentation skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Word and standard office software.
  • Excellent time management, multitasking, and organizational abilities.
  • Ability to establish and maintain professional boundaries with clients and staff.

  • This position operates within an office
  • Schedule: Full-time, Monday-Friday, day shift which may occasionally go into early evening hours
