The base salary range for this position is $22 to $22.50  per hour for employees hired in the Central Valley, CA. The pay range provided in this job posting represents the typical range or starting rate of candidates hired within the Central Valley region. šŸ“ļø Position Summary

As a Bilingual Spanish Parent Partner, you’ll work as part of a team providing treatment to youth and families with a youth and family counselor, a family social worker, clinician, and program manager. You’ll be the parent’s advocate and will help families gain the skills and tools needed to confidently and independently parent. This is a role where no one day is alike as no two parent’s needs are alike.  Some days you may be helping with budgeting or establishing house rules, while other days you may be providing support during court proceedings, IEP’s or family meetings. Your flexible schedule allows you to meet parents when they most need you, which may mean starting your day before their working hours and ending early, or starting your day later and meeting them during dinnertime. At times when you have resistant parents, you’ll use your relationship, shared life experience, and interpersonal skills to gain their engagement and commitment.

Client Care

  • You’ll be the parent’s advocate who will help families gain the skills and tools needed to be independent, confident parents. 
  • Helping with budgeting or establishing house rules
  • providing support during court proceedings, IEPs or family meetings. 
  • At times when you have resistant parents, you’ll use your relationship, shared life experience, and interpersonal skills to gain their engagement and commitment.

Documentation & Communication

  • Communicate effectively with treatment team members, supervisors, and client families.
  • Attend required staff meetings and trainings.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

āœ… Qualifications

  • At least four years of real-life experience as a parent or primary caregiver and have successfully navigated mental health, probation, child welfare, special education or regional center services for your child
  • High School diploma or GED
  • Bilingual Spanish required
  • Meets all state-required employment conditions, including: DOJ fingerprint and Child Abuse Index clearance, TB/Health physical, Valid CA Driver’s License, acceptable driving record, and proof of insurance

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Proficiency in English (reading, writing, speaking, and comprehension).
  • Ability to work independently while seeking guidance when necessary.
  • Strong writing and documentation skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Word and standard office software.
  • Excellent time management, multitasking, and organizational abilities.
  • Ability to establish and maintain professional boundaries with clients and staff.

  • Field Based position, requiring travel to meet with clients in their homes or community/school setting
  • Schedule: Monday-Friday, Full-time, flexible shifts including evenings.
