📝️ Position Summary
Reporting to the Core Program Director, the Core Program Manager (CPM I) oversees program operations, supervises staff, and ensures adherence to all operational, contractual, and budgetary requirements.

This role provides leadership in hiring, training, performance management, and regulatory compliance. The CPM I also supervises administrative functions, ensures documentation accuracy, and oversees the Child and Adolescent Needs and Strengths (CANS) Assessors and Scheduler.

🔍 Key Responsibilities

📋 Program Leadership & Oversight

  • Manage program services and staff performance to meet operational, contractual, budgetary, and regulatory standards
  • Ensure timely and accurate submission of documentation, reports, and service records
  • Implement agency best practices, quality assurance measures, and outcome tracking systems
  • Oversee administrative functions including environment of care, documentation compliance, and adherence to agency policies

👥 Staff Supervision & Development

  • Hire, train, supervise, and evaluate staff, including performance management
  • Conduct regular supervision, including in‑vivo field‑based coaching, shadowing, and modeling
  • Provide support across home, school, and community settings, including occasional evenings, weekends, or holidays
  • Monitor staff compliance with regulatory updates and funder requirements

🧩 Client & Community Support

  • Complete CANS assessments and attend Child and Family Team (CFT) meetings as needed
  • Serve as liaison with clients, partners, funders, and community stakeholders
  • Report incidents, grievances, and concerns promptly and accurately

🗂️ Administrative & Compliance Responsibilities

  • Ensure completion of timesheets, mileage, time‑off requests, credit card submissions, and reimbursements
  • Maintain compliance with federal, state, county, and funder regulations
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by the Core Program Director

Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in a related field
    OR
    Bachelor’s degree in a related field (when permitted by program, contract, or licensing) and at least two years of experience managing a program in family or community services
  • Minimum of two years of experience in a related setting (community‑based, social services, behavioral health, school‑based, or residential)
  • Meets all state‑required employment conditions, including:
    • DOJ fingerprint and Child Abuse Index clearance
    • TB/Health physical
    • Valid California Driver’s License and clean driving record
  • Meets all federal, state, and county compliance requirements through periodic sanction checks

  • Program‑based leadership role with regular interaction across staff, clients, and community partners
  • Full‑time schedule with flexibility for occasional evenings, weekends, or holidays based on program needs
  • May require travel for supervision, meetings, or training
