Pay Range: $105,000.00 – $115,000.00 annually (DOE)

📝️ Position Summary

This is a unique clinical leadership opportunity for a Clinical Manager within a Short-Term Residential Therapeutic Program (STRTP) located in a rural setting. The program serves up to 19 youth in a therapeutic campus and community-based home environment, allowing for focused, individualized, and high-quality clinical intervention.
 
The Clinical Manager provides clinical leadership and supervision to a multidisciplinary team, with a strong emphasis on training, mentoring, and developing staff to deliver trauma-informed, evidence-based services. This role plays a critical part in ensuring clinical services are delivered at a high standard and remain fully aligned with contract, regulatory, and quality expectations.
 
This position is ideal for a clinician who is energized by building strong teams, supporting professional growth, and shaping a therapeutic culture where youth can safely heal, stabilize, and begin rewriting their life stories.

🔍Key Responsibilities 

  • Report incidents, grievances, complaints, and related documentation to the CPD I in a timely manner.
  • Implement and oversee Best Practice and Quality Assurance efforts, including data tracking and outcome measurement.
  • Serve as liaison with clients, staff, partners, funders, and community entities.
  • Support development of residential programs serving youth in Stanislaus County and surrounding areas.
  • Support volunteer recruitment, onboarding, training, supervision, and administration for volunteer-based programs.
  • Supervise staff, including performance management and corrective action as needed.
  • Provide ongoing oversight of program services and supervisee responsibilities.
  • Conduct and document regular staff supervision.
  • Ensure quality and timely completion of case and service documentation.
  • Develop draft program budgets and strategic plans.
  • Prepare and submit required reports to funders and partners.
  • Manage programs in compliance with operational, contractual, budgetary, safety, and Joint Commission standards.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

 

 Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in a related field and a minimum of one year prior management experience. Active licensure with the BBS as an LMFT, LCSW or Licensed Psychologist is preferred, or if licensure is near completion, demonstration of met requirements.
  • A minimum of four years’ experience clinical experience working with youth with complex trauma, significant behavioral challenges and preferable with youth in foster care or group home.
  • Meets all state required conditions of employment as set forth by funder and Community Care Licensing for a Licensed Community Care facility; i.e. Fingerprint and Child Abuse Index clearance, TB/Health Physical. Valid CDL and clean driving record.
  • Meets all compliance requirements of federal, state, and county regulations by periodic sanction checks.
