📝️ Position Summary

The Projects Coordinator provides direct support to the Project Supervisor and COO in advancing agency-wide projects, initiatives, and policies. This role plays a key part in organizational development by driving strategic initiatives, ensuring compliance with accreditation standards, and coordinating cross-departmental projects that strengthen agency operations.

 

🔍 Key Responsibilities

Executive & Administrative Support

  • Provide direct support to the Chief Executive Officer and Senior Executive Team on initiatives and projects.
  • Prepare and deliver periodic project progress reports.
  • Maintain appropriate professional boundaries with staff and consultants.

Project Management & Coordination

  • Develop, maintain, and execute agency-wide projects from inception through completion.
  • Monitor deliverables and timelines; identify issues and take corrective action.
  • Track and manage project budgets effectively.
  • Coordinate agency-wide events as needed.

Compliance & Accreditation

  • Review, update, and maintain agency policies and procedures.
  • Support Joint Commission accreditation by monitoring compliance with Behavioral Health Care standards.
  • Interface with the Joint Commission regarding standards, requirements, and interpretation.

Communication & Collaboration

  • Coordinate with regional subject-matter experts to achieve project goals.
  • Assist in maintaining the agency SharePoint site and ensuring effective staff communication.
  • Represent the agency professionally with internal and external partners.

 

Qualifications

Preferred:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration or related field
  • Prior work experience in a not-for-profit setting
  • Experience in a multi-site organization

Minimum:

  • Associate degree in Business Administration or related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of administrative and document support experience for senior management.
  • Proficiency with MS Office Suite, SharePoint, and Adobe Professional.
  • Proficient in 10-key data entry.
  • Capable of preparing budget layouts and designing complex equations with accuracy.
  • Strong organizational skills with a keen attention to detail.
  • Knowledge of agency operations and administrative policies.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and multitasking skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with diverse staff while maintaining confidentiality.
  • Meets all state-required conditions of employment (fingerprint clearance, Child Abuse Index, TB/physical exam, valid driver’s license, clean driving record).

  • Remote role in Stockton, CA or Turlock, CA
  • Monday - Friday (8:00 AM - 5:00 PM)
