šŸ“ļø Summary Position   

The Head of Clinical Services oversees the development and delivery of clinical interventions for high-risk foster youth, ensuring clinical integrity and regulatory compliance. This leadership role balances clinical oversight with staff supervision by providing individual and group supervision, supporting treatment planning, and guiding service implementation. The position promotes quality assurance, fosters staff development, and provides crisis consultation, playing a key role in maintaining program excellence and meeting funding and regulatory standards.

Utilizing a multidisciplinary team approach, the program delivers individualized care with a small caseload to ensure each child receives focused, consistent, and high-quality support.

šŸ”Key Responsibilities -  

Clinical Supervision & Support 

  • Provide weekly individual and group clinical supervision to staff and interns.
    • Support professional growth and clinical development of direct service providers.
    • Offer guidance and consultation during after-hours on-call crisis management. 
    • Review and approve clinical documentation for quality and compliance. 

Program Compliance & Quality Assurance 
• Monitor adherence to agency, state, and funder standards. 
• Ensure timely submission of clinical reports, assessments, and documentation. 
• Participate in internal audits and quality improvement initiatives. 
• Collaborate with leadership to implement corrective action plans when needed. 

 

Operations & Coordination 
• Assist in developing clinical policies, procedures, and workflows. 
• Coordinate onboarding and training of new clinical staff. 
• Maintain communication with external partners and referral sources as needed. 
• Participate in agency-wide planning and strategic meetings. 

Team Collaboration 
• Foster a supportive, trauma-informed team culture. 
• Serve as a liaison between leadership and clinical team. 
• Promote interdepartmental collaboration to improve service delivery. 
• Provide mentorship and professional development opportunities. 

āœ… Qualifications  

  • Master’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, or related field.
    • Licensed LMFT or LCSW for a minimum of two years (Board of Behavioral Sciences).
    • Certified and eligible to provide BBS-approved clinical supervision to MFT/ASW interns. 
    • Minimum of three years of clinical supervisory experience. 
    • Experience working with high-risk youth in community-based, school, residential, or behavioral health settings. 
    • Registered with the National Provider Identifier (NPI). 
    • Must pass all state-mandated background checks and health clearances (fingerprints, TB test, clean driving record). 

Preferred: 
• Experience with program audits, documentation compliance, and quality assurance. 
• Knowledge of trauma-informed care practices and evidence-based interventions.

This position is fully on-site. This role requires availability for occasional evening hours and after-hours crisis consultation on a rotating basis. Limited local travel may be required for site visits or meetings. The role is based in a collaborative office environment with opportunities for remote administrative work.
