Your Impact

Aspiranet is seeking a Core Program Supervisor I to provide oversight of direct care staff and the provision of quality services in our local foster care and adoption program.  Aspiranet’s programs offer services that are client-centered, trauma-informed, and reflective of best practice standards in the field.  When you work for Aspiranet, you join a committed team whose efforts positively affect children and families.

Aspiranet’s foster care and adoption agency has been a leader in providing services to children and families in California for over 35 years.  Aspiranet strives to connect children to safe, caring relationships that can last a lifetime.  We prepare and approve skilled and caring parents; guiding them in becoming a healing resource to the children in their care.   We work in partnership with our families by providing ongoing support, training and monitoring until children are able to reunify with their families.  When returning home is not an option, we partner with children and families to develop a plan for life long connections that may include adoption.   In working with our families our goal is always the same – to maximize opportunities for the best possible outcomes.  The difference you make in your daily work can change lives.

Your Skills and Duties

  • Provide day to day direction and supervision of direct care staff.
  • Coordinate and oversee service delivery to program and regulatory standards.
  • Recruit, hire, orient, train, supervise and develop direct reports per agency guidelines.

Education & Work Experience

  • Master’s Degree in a related field which meets approval by Community Care Licensing.
  • Three years of full-time social worker or casework in the field of family or child welfare services

Licenses & Certifications

  • Meets all state required conditions of employment as set forth by funder and regulatory body; i.e. Fingerprint and Child Abuse Index Clearance, TB/Health Physical, valid CDL and clean driving record.
