Your Future Team

The Program Manager has direct oversight responsibilities for the Turlock Family Resource Center (TFRC). The TFRC serves as the focal point in the community of Turlock California, where families turn to for resources and support, and education and training all designed to strengthen individuals and families. The Program Manager has an externally facing role, and is responsible for managing collaborative relationships with community stakeholders and vital partnerships within the Family Resource Center network of Stanislaus County. This position also has a heavy emphasis on internal team management and development, while establishing standards of performance across all of the programs operated within the TFRC.

Your Skills and Duties

  • Under the direction of Program Director, the Program Manager coordinates service(s) to funder/agency/regulatory requirements; including the timely completion and submission of reports.
  • Under the direction of the Program Director, the Program Manager assists with the recruitment, onboarding, training, supervision and performance managing of Turlock Family Resource Center staff.
  • Participates in the development and implementation of assessment tools and service evaluative methods.
  • Monitors the quality and timely submission of required agency documentation.
  • Participate in and conduct program related trainings.
  • Complete administrative paperwork (time sheets, mileage, time off requests, phone bills and other expense reimbursements, weekly schedule, etc.) on time.
  • Maintain client and case confidentiality per Agency, funder, state and federal requirements.
  • Maintain appropriate professional boundaries with staff, clients, partners and other constituencies.
  • Represent self and Agency in a professional manner.

Leadership:

  • Cultivate existing relationships, as well as developing new partnerships with community stakeholders, with the goal of providing the needed resources to program participants in addition to much needed linkages and support.
  • Develop strategies to support future growth within the TFRC, growth that incorporates the changing demographics of those we serve, as well as having an eye for the impending changes within the technology utilized to serve those that we partner with.
  • Seek to solidify and enhance programming opportunities, as well as funding sources, all with the vision promoting organizational sustainability.
  • Serve as a conduit for staff in all efforts to maintain and amplify the wellness of those that call the TFRC their home office. Utilizing the Community Resiliency Model, in addition to other tools and resources, take the lead in fostering an environment and personal relationship, in which staff are empowered to live their fullest lives both professionally and personally.

Team Management:

  • Recruit, hire, train, and support staff, with the intent of enhancing the agency culture; all done within the spirit of Respect, Integrity, Courage, and Hope.
  • Develop and implement a system to evaluate skills, experience, professional, and emotional needs of all staff.
  • Instill a sense of accountability and community responsibility amongst team members.

Education & Work Experience

  • Master’s degree in a related field preferred with a minimum of one year prior management experience OR
  • Bachelor’s degree with 3 years-experience working in a related field/ setting (community based, social services, behavioral health, school based, residential setting, family resource center).
  • Meets all state required conditions of employment as set forth by funder and regulatory body; i.e. Fingerprint and Child Abuse Index Clearance, TB/Health Physical, valid CDL and clean driving record.
