External Description:

As Director of Foster Care and Adoption Services with Aspiranet in Salinas, California, you will lead Aspiranet’s efforts to recruit, train and support Aspiranet Families to serve Monterey County’s most vulnerable children in foster care. Fuel your passion for helping children and families while providing leadership and programmatic guidance to a diverse group of social workers, caregivers and administrative staff. As Aspiranet’s Director of Foster Care and Adoption Services in Monterey County, you will use your education, experience, networking and organizational skills as well as leadership abilities to make a meaningful difference in your community.

YOUR OPPORTUNITY

The Director of Foster Care and Adoption Services oversees a cohesive team providing parent education, support, case management and crisis cervices. You’ll have the ability to build a much-needed local resource with the support of an Agency with over 40 years of proven experience. With no more than 6 direct reports, you will have the opportunity to provide impactful leadership. You will become part of Aspiranet’s Monterey County leadership team representing the local voice in the Monterey County community. A successful Director will be comfortable working with various groups, from para-professional staff to civic leaders to potential donors and, most importantly, with the children and families Aspiranet serves.

YOUR QUALIFICATIONS

If you have a Master’s degree in a discipline approved by the Department of Community Care Licensing with two-three years of full-time social work or casework employment in a child welfare or foster family agency, apply right now.
